How We Tested CarBridge
I tested the CarBridge installation process using an iPhone 6s running iOS 15. used the WheelPal app found at wheelpal.app to start the process. We selected CarBridge and followed the simple on-screen instructions.
The entire process was straightforward and took less than three minutes to complete. I did not encounter any technical issues or edge cases during our testing. The app installed successfully and worked as expected on the CarPlay display.
CarBridge for iOS 18.5?
CarBridge recently updated to CarBridge version 2.0.13 and it fixed the app crashes when switching bridged apps in and out on iOS 16.
You cannot currently use CarBridge CarPlay app on iOS 18.5, it happens because no jailbreak is available for new versions yet. Whenever we get a jailbreak tool for iOS 17/18, we are sure to get an update from CarBridge!
